After months of iteration, Rykov Control Shaker v3 is finally here — a complete rebuild of the original 2023-2024 tool for procedural motion noise in Maya.
It’s not just a UI overhaul — it’s a new architecture optimized for modern Maya (2020–2025, Python 2 & 3), with real-time synchronization, clean UX, and production-safe animation workflows.
The tool procedurally generates translational and rotational shake with independent ± control per axis.
It writes directly into Anim Layers, keeping base animation curves untouched and production-safe.
All channels are dynamically filtered to existing, keyable attributes, ensuring clean keyframes and compatibility with any rig.
Autodesk Maya 2020–2025
Python 2.7 & 3.x
PySide2 / shiboken2
Tested on Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
Rykov Control Shaker bridges the gap between procedural systems and manual key animation.
It gives artists fast control over physically plausible noise, without touching base curves —
ideal for cinematic camera work, vehicle motion, impact simulation, and layered animation in VFX pipelines.
